We took inspiration from the Japanese art of repair, Kintsugi and applied the philosophy of honoring a piece's lifetime and imperfections by highlighting their beauty. Our runway inspiration for this practical design comes from runway pieces from Maison Margiela FW11, FW14, Area FW20, Haider Ackermann AW15, Guo Pei FW18, Jill Sander S18, Yohi Yamamoto S09. Head to our blog to see more inspiration for this workshop!
