BRIEF

Embellish and repair your favorite sweaters with hand embroidery techniques. We'll teach you embroidery and knitwear repair basics, provide runway and street style inspiration and help brainstorm new ideas with you. This workshop provides a beginner-friendly approach to freehand abstract embroidery and embellishment via beading. Come create with our re-design community at Maquette!

MOODBOARD

We took inspiration from the Japanese art of repair, Kintsugi and applied the philosophy of honoring a piece's lifetime and imperfections by highlighting their beauty. Our runway inspiration for this practical design comes from runway pieces from Maison Margiela, Simone Rocha, Area, Haider Ackermann, Jill Sander S18 and more.
